Every year we start with “resolutions” and goals for a healthier and better life. By 1 or 3 months into the year people forget about them and fall back to their unhealthy routines.
These are 8 easy tips for a healthier 2015!!!
1) CHANGE POOR LIFESTYLE HABITS
Better health is a lifestyle, NOT a quick fix. We need to make lifestyle changes that we can keep up to build progress. It takes Determination. First, identify your poor lifestyle habits! Then, adopt those habits below…
Exercise 3 to 5 times a week for half to one hour combining cardiovascular and resistance exercise; in a 24 hour day it is just 4% of your day, NO excuses! Micro movements count too. Get up and move, don’t sit too long.
Tip: Focus on Body Muscle % vs. Body Fat % and not just on weight. Muscle weighs more than fats. When you work out you gain muscle and burn fat, this would help to improve your metabolism.
3) EAT WELL
Diets DO NOT work, enjoy your food. If you feel deprived this will encourage binging and lower your metabolism. Eat a well balanced meal by increasing your protein and vegetable consumption and decreasing your carbohydrate and sugar intake. Eat real fresh foods not processed foods!
Tip: Eat Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince, Tea like a Princess and Dinner like a peasant.
4) MORE ALKALINE
Drink plenty of water with Lemon to flush your system and to make your body PH more alkaline for healthy bodily functions.
Your body needs a good sleep; this would regulate your metabolism and regenerate your cells.
6) BOOST YOUR SYSTEM
Use multivitamins, minerals and quality supplements that increase your metabolism, immunity and cell-regeneration. E.g. Probiotics and Omega 3 fish oils.
Make time to play, relax and enjoy your day. See the world! Mental stress slows down your metabolism and creates havoc in your hormonal balance.
8) SPINE CARE
Most importantly take care of your spine and nervous system. It controls everything in your body, a healthy spine equals a healthy life.
